The Greater Port Washington Business Improvement District (BID) is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded the important Community Thrive Grant from PSEG Long Island. This vital funding is dedicated to enhancing the economic vibrancy of downtown areas by supporting innovative projects that foster growth and sustainability.

With the Community Thrive Grant, the Greater Port Washington BID purchased and strategically placed new litter receptacles along Main Street within the Business District. This initiative is central to the BID’s mission of maintaining a clean, welcoming, and aesthetically pleasing environment, which is essential for a thriving business district.
“Litter removal plays a crucial role in the beautification of our community,” stated Holly Byrne, Executive Director of the Greater Port Washington BID. “By keeping our streets clean, we create an inviting atmosphere that encourages both residents and visitors to enjoy our local businesses. We are deeply grateful to PSEG Long Island for their continued support of our efforts.”
The grant itself represents the kind of partnership PSEG Long Island aims to foster. “PSEG Long Island’s.
