As one of the oldest Chambers in New York State, the PW Chamber actively supports local businesses with events and a robust data source and partners with the Port Washington BID to provide the Try Port First app.

Provides programs to assist new and current businesses. Businesses may be eligible for funding for Vacant Space Revival; Electric Rate Discounts; or Interior or Facade Improvements.
National Grid – Downstate Eco Development Grant Program. “Whether your goal is to focus your community’s economic development and business recruitment efforts, develop strategies and materials for marketing your community or to redevelop buildings and brownfields in your community, National Grid’s Economic Development Grant Program may be able to assist you.”
Long Island Clean Energy Hub. “Long Island Clean Energy Hub – The Long Island Clean Energy Hub connects small businesses with free educational and advisory services, offering personalized guidance from Community Energy Advisors on energy efficiency, rooftop solar, EV vehicles and charging, heat pumps, available tax credits and utility incentives, contractor referrals, and applications to help reduce costs and make informed clean energy decisions.”
