The 6th annual Halloween Scavenger Hunt in Port Washington was a spine-tingling success, thanks to the spirited collaboration between the Port Washington BID and the PW Public Library. Participants embarked on a thrilling quest, collecting clues and treats from 61 enthusiastic local businesses. The Friends of the Library generously stuffed goodie bags with delightful surprises, adding to the magic of the night. A huge thank you to all participating businesses for making this community event a memorable one!

Yes! The scavenger hunt is free and open to anyone aged 16 and under. Goodie bags will be distributed from the Library until supplies last.
No! The Halloween symbols will be located in the windows of participating business just prior to the event. You are welcome to take a few days to find as many images as you like. However, the goodie bags will only be distributed on Saturday and while supplies last.
You do not need to find all the listed Halloween symbols in order to claim your goody bag from the Library.
You can visit as many or as few businesses as you have time to do. Just remember that the goodie bags will be distributed while supplies last.
You are welcome to shop at the participating businesses but the Halloween symbols will be located on each business window.
Library staff and BID volunteers will be on hand to safely distribute goody bags on the day of the event between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm.
