Port Washington comes alive with 2 days of Entertainment, special offers, free trolley rides, and a whole lot of magic. Start the Holiday Magic season with Small Business Saturday. Santa rings in the festivities from the firetruck at 12 noon.
Participating businesses will have deals and treats – check the Try Port First app for a list of the stores and their special offers and look for the red bows on the store fronts.
Day 2 is Port Washington’s own “Giving Saturday.” We encourage the community to Buy Local to Give Local. A day of Giving Magic brings local non-profit orgs under one roof to make giving easy. In addition, participating businesses act as collection sites for Make a Child Smile toy drive.
Sing, Sip & Stroll returns for a caroling and sampling event at participating restaurants.
Businesses throughout town display their holiday spirit with the window decorating contest. Final awards for best painted and best decorated will be announced.
Day 1- Port Holiday Magic on Small Business Saturday
- 12 noon – Santa rides the firetruck – Port Washington Blve. to Manorhaven Blvd.
- 11 – 3 pm -“Shoppertainment” Live performances, costumed characters & singing toy soldiers visit participating businesses. Main Street.
- 11 – 3 pm – FREE hop on/Hop off trolley with live music. See Try Port First app for a list of designated stops on Main Street.
- All Day – participating businesses provide special offers, discounts, and festive refreshments. Townwide. See Try Port First app for a complete list of businesses and special offers.
Day 2- Port Holiday Magic
- 12 – 2 pm – Meet Santa – free photos with Santa and live performances. Landmark Gym, Main Street
- 11 am – 2 pm – Santa’s Magical Village. Refreshments and live music. Meet and greet with local non-profit orgs. Landmark Gym, Main Street.
- 1 – 5 pm – FREE Hop On/Hop Off party bus with live music. Main Street.
- 2:00 – 5 pm – Sing, Sip & Stroll. Pedestrian focused, family friendly, beverage sampling of local specialty drinks. $2/pour at designated locations. Singing out loud is optional. CLICK to see locations and offerings.

- Window Decorating Contest
- PW Radio – Listen to the sounds of the season with “fireside” chats with local business owners and celebrities.
- Try Port First – Your one stop listing of times, locations, and updates of all things Port Washington.
- Port Holiday Magic Selfie Challenge: Visit. Snap. Send. Win gift cards & baskets full of local magic! From Saturday to Saturday, visit 5 local participating businesses. Snap a selfie with the posted sign. Please click HERE to send the selfie shots for a chance to Win. Details posted at each participating business location.
