Serra Provisions receives grant from the Port Washington B.I.D.

Port Washington BID members recognize owners of Serra Provisions, Jesse and Brittany Olson, with a grant for New Tenant to the Business Improvement District.

Serra Provisions is the most recent recipient of the New Tenant Grant from the Port Washington Business Improvement District.

Serra Provisions is located at 7 Sintsink Drive East on Manhasset Isle in Port Washington. Serra Provisions, simply put, is an Italian inspired line of handcrafted, all-natural food products, utilizing local, seasonal ingredients from small farms in and around New York State. Owners Jesse and Brittany Olson explain, “Our products are free from GMOs, sugars, and other commercially produced stabilizers, or preservatives. From our all-natural, artisanal pastas, to grass-fed, European style butter blends, all of our products are made in house, using responsibly sourced ingredients, and old world cooking and preservation methods. We are taking a modern, forward thinking approach to tradition. “

Jesse and Brittany shared their feelings about opening a business in Port Washington saying, “After spending over 25 years traveling the country, working in some of the best restaurants, we found our business home, as well as our home, in Port Washington! What an incredible community! We have been welcomed with open arms and embraced by a community that is so supportive of its small businesses! We couldn’t feel more welcome, and look forward to many years serving such a beautiful town!”

Port Washington B.I.D. president Donna Rice, says, “The B.I.D. is very pleased to be able to support new commercial tenants like Serra Provisions to our district and to provide grants to assist in the opening process. We welcome Serra Provisions and we are excited to have this addition to the outstanding food experiences available in Port Washington.” Eligible businesses, both new and established within the defined business district can apply for grants for funding to assist with costs of improvements to the facade of the place of business and/or signage.
