An Annual Member Meeting of the Greater Port Washington Business Improvement District (the “GPWBID”) shall be held on the 29th day of October 2025 at its offices located at 329 Main Street, Port Washington, NY 11050, at 7:00 pm for the purpose of electing three (3) Class A, Commercial Property Owner Directors for the term of two (2) years and one (1) Class B, commercial Tenant Director for the term of two (2) years, both commencing November 1, 2025.
Pursuant to Article II, Section 8 of the bylaws of the GPW BID, as amended, “[a]ny Member in good standing of the Corporation, or the valid representative of such Member, may seek election as a Director for his or her respective class by submittal of a written self-nomination to the Corporation.” Moreover, pursuant to Article III, Section 5 of the bylaws, “[n]ominations for election as a Director must be made in writing and received by the Corporation in time for inclusion with information as to the list of candidates provided in the notice of Annual Member Meeting given to the Members pursuant to Article II, Section 4 of these By-laws. To be eligible for election, a candidate must satisfy the requirements described in Article II, Section 8.”
In keeping with the foregoing, nominations must be submitted in written form and filed with the Executive Director of the GPWBID not later the 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025. A proposed form of nomination is available during regular business hours at the offices of the GPW BID, and by download from the GPW BID website at https://portwashingtonbid.org/who-we-are/.
